XOT's FIRST INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Over the past 10 years there have been many XOT tournaments organised around the world including a few "XOT WOC" one-day tournaments organised on the open day of the World Othello Championships.

However the "XOT WOC" in previous years were side events leading up to the main event, the standard Othello WOC tournament.

The upcoming inaugural XOT European Championship in Dortmund on the first weekend of September 2026 will be the first two-day international tournament fully dedicated to the XOT variant of Othello.
