WOF Online tournaments WOF Masters
World Othello Masters - Online is 27 Othello tournaments between January and September. All tournaments is five rounds. The game time are 2*20 minutes.
The main goal with the WOM is to gather Othelloplayers all over the world. The top players will be invited to a final tournament. This tournament will be in October, hopefully together with the World Othello Championship.
To be able to attend to WOF Othello Online tournaments, you must be WOF verified. You can see at the tournaments information if you are pre-registered or not. If your name is not there you need to get a WOF-verification! Ask for verification here to vint.ee or eOthello.
Date and times can be changed! If it is an link to the tournament, then it is a decided date and time.

Who can play WOM 2022?
The WOM 2022 is open only for WOF verified players and Vint verified players.
In each tourney it is a player list. There you can see who have right to play in the tournament.
If your name is not there, and you think you should be able to play in the WOM 2022, please contact the Othello federation in your country, and they support you to be WOF verified and the you can play in WO 2022..

Players under the supervision of admin
The admin can require a player to play a tournament with a camera. The camera should show from the side, and cover the player, computer and computer desk. If players refuse, the admin has the right to refuse the player to play.
Games:
The games are 2*20 minutes.
5 rounds Swiss-style.
Regular opening.

Use of Othello programs
It is NOT permitted to take help of Othello programs or advice from other players.
If it is suspected that unauthorized help has been used, the player may lose his verification on Vint or WOF. A player may also lose his ranking.
Ultimately responsible are WOF admins. In case of suspicion of improper use of the Othello program, or that players behave in a negative way and express themselves unpleasantly towards opponents, WOF Admin has the right to suspend players from VOM.
The WOM 2022 Final tournament
Points are awarded in each tournament.
Top 10 gets 4 points
11-20 gets 3 points
21-30 gets 2 points
31 - last player gets 1 point
A maximum of nine tournaments are included.
If you have played nine tournaments, you can not add more tournaments, one you can increase your score.
It has not yet been decided how the final tournament will be played. This depends on IF we can play the final tournament live in conjunction with WOC 2022, or if it will be an online tournament.
If it is an online tournament, the top 40 will be invited to the final, which will be a 7-round Swiss.
If there is a live tournament, there will be fewer players and an elimination tournament. ore inforation will come.
