Othello events in Sweden

The Swedish Othello Federation tries to organise Othello events every year. Sweden is a large country with relatively few players. Therefore, we try to organise events in places in close proximity to a large number of players.

Othello Weekend is an annual tradition organised by the Swedish Othello Federation. The format varies slightly from year to year. Sometimes there are open tournaments, sometimes the event is connected to a larger festival or convention. In 2017 the Othello Weekend was held at two different venues. On the Saturday we had a small tent at the Japanese Culture day. On the Sunday we had a stand at the Stockholm Army museum, who had organised a "War games" exhibition. ​​​​​​
