Tomas Douda won the 5th stage of the Czech Grand Prix. 
Douda continues to collect victories in national tournaments. He again took first place, winning all 7 games. In second place, also as usual, is Karel Cervenka. These same players occupy the top lines in the Czech rating list.

ROUND THE OTHELLO WORLD. LAST WEEK'S NEWS. 
Hong Kong is preparing for the national youth championship. 
Registration for the U16 tournament is now open. It was announced that it will take place on June 30th. First, the participants will play seven rounds according to the Swiss system, and then the top 4 will play the semi-finals and final in a one-game match. The winner will be included in the team for the World Championships.

Yoshida Endo became the leader of the official WOF rating. 
The updated rating appeared on the WOF website on May 19. Endo, who occupies the first line, mainly takes into account games from 2012-2020. Ichihiro Fukuzuka, who is in second place, has a similar situation. But in third place is the WOC 2023 bronze medalist Seiya Kurita.

Important update on Flip The Disс resource 
New functions on the FTD service for holding Othello tournaments were announced by its developer Dmitry Atamanov: “1. Finals are added to all tournaments that had them and now you can see them on "rounds" tab. "R" tab with results of the tournament including finals and 3/4 matches added to "Standings". Filter by category will be added later. 2. Now you can click on player's name in players list or standings and it will display all the results and games of that player in that tournament”.
